Really well written!

However, I do wonder where the "300 years" CRV emission comes from?

I've read 5-6 summaries of Convex over the past 6 months. This is the best one for two reasons: (a) it's extremely clear what is going on under the hood for both CRV and CVX; and (b) the concept of "bribes" is relatively new and is only lightly discussed elsewhere. If one wanted to go a step further, the recently introduced "Union" concept should be added to any update of this piece. https://llama.airforce/#/union/member

Thank you for the compliments, greatly appreciated! Glad it was easy to understand, that is the goal here! The Union is very interesting. We won’t be updating this post as we have other posts to work on, but we’ll definitely add relevant information related to CVX on our Twitter!

Love this write up! Have looked at many breakdowns of curve/convex but for some reason this was the only one that clicked.

I would be very interested in learning more about how Frax Finance fits into the picture. I know you did a piece on Luna a few months ago, and I can’t seem to wrap my head around what makes Frax the leading candidate for defi’s primary stablecoin. I know that it has partnered up and locked itself into the curve ecosystem, but would love to better understand how and what the future looks like for it.

Thanks again for this great piece!

First off, just want to say thank you for the kind words. It really means a lot to us and we really appreciate it! As far as Frax goes, it certainly is a project that is drawing our attention. At this point, we still prefer Terra over it, but is definitely worth a look. With that said, we’re definitely going to do a post on Frax in the future as it is clearly trying to position themselves for a dominant role in DeFi.

Thank you for commenting!
